NOW HIRING: Senior Motion Graphic Designer

Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 per year

This role must be in-office at one of our regional offices in Sacramento, St. Louis, or Newark.

Job Overview

The Sr. Motion Graphic Designer will provide expertise in motion graphic design as well as the generation of new and innovative ways to market SBM capabilities and advance company growth. The designer must be capable of creating a finished product using a combination of video supplied by the team or client. This person is also responsible for creating outstanding video, motion and animation content.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Directly manage multiple concurrent projects, often requiring outside resources to produce the most effective design

  • Design and work with SBM's IT department to develop and enhance SBM

  • Manage content development and design of SBM go-to-market collateral

  • Support marketing and sales presentations as needed

  • Develop insightful, aesthetically compelling, and functional motion concepts that support creative ideas toward the end goal

  • Design and produce compelling video and web materials

  • Maintain and promote an internal awareness of industry design trends and standards with a strong focus on processes and tools

  • Mentor and support other motion graphic staff toward the goal of accelerating skill progression through a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing

  • Generate unique and original ideas using primarily 2D assets to create designs

  • Ability to deliver polished designs under tight deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and sense of design

  • Must be able to take projects from concept to completion

  • Collaborate with other team members

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/ or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-7 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with After Effects & Premiere.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
