Listed within this posting is the anticipated salary range for this position, plus variable incentive compensation. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that include, but are not limited to, your business experience, education, and individual capacity. THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a member of an integrated marketing communications team, the graphic designer is responsible for the visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires.  The graphic designer will be able to take concepts or ideas and create a visual representation, in both print and electronic media. 

LOCATION:

Hybrid (Bel Air, MD Office)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborate with multiple teams/departments to develop dynamic visual materials for both internal and external audiences.
  • Work on a wide range of projects using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs to support the business. Projects may include printed documents, flyers, logo development, photo manipulation, presentations, web page updates, and/or design, social media posts, and various other marketing materials.
  • Translate strategic direction and ideas into high-quality design with clear messaging while adhering to an established brand identity.
  • Brainstorm with the marketing team to develop creative solutions for complex projects.
  • Use trend intelligence and knowledge of current markets when designing and executing specific projects.
  • Work independently and cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include multiple projects.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or web design; 3 – 5 years of experience in a professional graphic design position.
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat on Windows-based computer; creating balanced and engaging print and digital compositions, using design and typography principles.
  • Use of motion graphics programs such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Audition is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pre-press processes, including preparing production-ready files, color modes, resolution, bleeds, proofs, and print specifications. Experience working with print vendors to resolve production issues and ensure high-quality, accurate materials; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress a plus.
  • A strong portfolio highlighting work in print and digital design, visual/interactive/motion design, infographics, and photography.
  • Experience using AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support brainstorming, content development, design exploration, workflow efficiency, and creative problem-solving.
