Description
The Medical Informatics Officer (MIO) serves as a senior clinical leader responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of health information systems. The MIO bridges clinical care and technology-ensuring that health IT systems improve patient outcomes, provider efficiency, and regulatory compliance The MIO partners with executive leadership, medical staff, IT, and operations to enhance clinical workflows, improve patient safety, and promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
NP, MD, or DO required; active, unrestricted medical license. Formal training or certification in clinical informatics (preferred). 5-10 years of clinical practice experience. Strong knowledge of EHR systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
