Senior Mechanical Engineering Leader

We are partnering with an established consulting engineering firm seeking a senior mechanical engineering leader to join its leadership team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical oversight, team leadership, client relationships, and business strategy. You will remain connected to meaningful project work while helping guide staff, improve delivery, and support the continued growth of the mechanical practice.
What You'll Do
  • Provide leadership and technical oversight across complex mechanical engineering projects
  • Manage and strengthen key client relationships
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and support staff development
  • Review project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance
  • Provide quality control and technical guidance across multiple projects
  • Support proposals, interviews, and business development efforts
  • Mentor engineers and designers at various experience levels
  • Help improve internal standards, processes, and project delivery
  • Contribute to resource planning, workload forecasting, and long-term business strategy
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients and internal teams

What We're Looking For
