Position Summary
Complete Mechanical Engineering items needed to design, build, ship, and service our products. Typically works on one project at a time (typically creating new designs that are very close to reference designs) and is working under the direction of a Mechanical Designer or Project Engineer.
Position Responsibilities
  • Takes initiative to meet challenging project timelines and budgets including hours and materials
  • Provides layouts and details to production
  • Participates with compiling electronic documentation for Service manuals
  • Ensures that product, as designed is in conformance with Company quote and customer purchase order
  • Assists with complex system start-up, de-bug and final equipment maturation
  • Updates design package to reflect "as shipped" configuration of any critical item
  • Provides technical assistance for Estimating, Sales, Production and Service
  • Ensures required ISO documentation is completed
  • Assists with field installation
  • Typically works on multiple tasks or one complex design, creating new designs that are very close to reference designs
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Technical degree in Engineering desired
  • CAD (3D modeling)
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and design of industrial automated equipment
  • Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic experience desired
  • Experience with Industrial Automation 3D Solid Modeling
  • Computer proficiency including spreadsheet, MS Word, Excel & Power Point
