Job description

Job Summary
The Senior Manager Marketing is responsible for building our marketing function from the ground up. This foundational role requires an entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who will establish brand presence, drive demand generation and position Climate Pros as both an industry innovator and employer of choice. A high level of business acumen, problem management skills, leadership, and strong decision-making skills are essential for a qualified candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
  • Develop and execute marketing strategy aligned with growth objectives.
  • Build unified brand presence across 30+ locations with consistent messaging and visual identity.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership Team to position Climate Pros as thought leader
  • Establish a customer satisfaction index process
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI

Demand Generation & Sales Enablement
  • Build and scale demand generation programs to drive customer acquisition.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align marketing with revenue goals.
  • Create lead generation campaigns and sales enablement tools.
  • Develop customer retention and expansion strategies.

Digital Marketing
  • Oversee website evolution (www.climatepros.com) with agency partners for optimal user experience
  • Establish content management and review processes with internal stakeholders and teams
  • Establish digital marketing capabilities: email, content, and customer facing social media marketing.
  • Implement marketing technology stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics)
  • Manage paid media, content marketing, and marketing automation programs

Operations & Leadership
  • Manage marketing budget and ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Select, manage, and evaluate external vendors and agencies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, IT, HR, and executive leadership

Other Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of a customer satisfaction index.
  • Periodically attend customer meetings to develop deeper understanding of the market
  • Assist in the development and support of internal events and meetings as required
  • Make safety in the workplace the number one priority within the team and while dealing with customers

Internal Interactions
  • The Senior Manager Marketing interacts collaboratively with cross functional leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment of our brand strategy, collateral materials, digital presence, and overall messaging.
  • The Senior Manager Marketing is responsible for the training, development, leadership, and retention assigned marketing staff. Quarterly progress reviews and goal alignment are required to be conducted with each employee.

Skills, Education, and Competencies
  • 5-10 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, with 3-5 years managing people or project teams
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Proven success in industrial, HVAC, field services, construction, or technical industries preferred
  • Strong digital marketing expertise: paid media, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, analytics
  • Demonstrated experience in brand development and demand generation with measurable results
  • Experience in growth-stage or scaling company environments preferred
  • Proficiency with marketing technology (CRM, automation, analytics tools)
  • Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills
  • Customer driven personality with tendency toward action.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, coordinate, and multi-task in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to formally present to or lead discussions with groups of customers or coworkers.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Work is performed in a normal office environment or during customer and job-site visits.
