Senior Manager, Tech Program Lead
The Tech Chief of Staff team is looking for a passionate, energetic, creative, and strategic Program Manager to shape and evolve two Tech-wide programs. In this role, you will be the strategic lead and program owner for our Tech-wide recognition and enablement programs. You'll be leading a high-output team to drive program impact.
Responsibilities include:
Lead Programming Strategy & Insights
  • Operational Planning: Partner with the program AE, other key stakeholders, and program teams to drive the overarching program strategy and operational planning
  • Architect Business, Tech, and Associate Insights: Establish program KPIs / North Star metrics to deeply understand and articulate program impact on our Tech associates, the organization, and business
  • Shape Future Programming: Destination back thinking to inform each program's charter. Track competitor landscapes, evaluate industry trends, and pioneer future programming frameworks to ensure Capital One remains a leader in the Tech enablement & recognition space.

Optimize End-to-End Experience
  • Oversee Program Management: Oversee the development of scalable processes, tracking tools, and governance frameworks for both programs
  • Optimize the program & processes to maximize impact
  • Strengthen Partner Frameworks: Guide partnerships with Comms, Design, Tech Divisional Support, Immerse Platform Engineers and others to drive program impact through others and create camaraderie within stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • At least 8 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 2 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
