Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Product leads a team of product owners and product managers focused on complex end-user experiences and maintains clarity for the team to ensure successful delivery of new and existing digital capabilities. This role collaborates with all levels of stakeholders to align product goals. This position also manages the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy. Align product goals with business objectives. Oversee the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps. - (40%)
  • Ensure timely quality delivery of product features. Manage the product development lifecycle. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all products. - (30%)
  • Oversee a team of product owners and product managers to ensure cohesive product development. Ensures alignment of team activities to the overall product strategy. - (20%)
  • Communicates team progress to senior leadership. Act as a liaison as needed between product and other departments. - (10%)

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 10-13 years experience in product management, or related field such as business analysis or project management
  • 3+ years leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 13+ years experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Information Technology, financial services, payment, or online and mobile platforms.
  • Experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, while leading product teams through successful product delivery and execution.
  • Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, or agent-based capabilities to enhance product management, product delivery, customer experiences, or business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting credit card, debit card, lending, or payments products, including knowledge of payment networks, NACHA guidelines, and digital self-service experiences.

Work Environment
  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):
$139,800.00 - $223,700.00
Full Salary Range for position:
California: $160,800.00 - $279,600.00Colorado: $139,800.00 - $246,100.00New York: $153,800.00 - $279,600.00Washington: $153,800.00 - $257,300.00Maryland: $153,800.00 - $246,100.00Washington DC: $160,800.00 - $257,300.00Illinois: $139,800.00 - $246,100.00New Jersey: $160,800.00 - $257,300.00Vermont: $139,800.00 - $223,700.00Ohio: $139,800.00 - $223,700.00Maine: $139,800.00 - $223,700.00Connecticut: $153,800.00 - $246,100.00Virginia: $139,800.00 - $223,700.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
