This role will help shape our inventory relationships, ensuring a high-quality, diversified, and performant supply across all emerging and established digital channels. This role will be at the forefront of identifying new opportunities, optimizing existing partnerships, and driving strategic growth and innovation in a rapidly evolving, cross-screen advertising environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Growth

  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage strategic relationships with SSPs, ad exchanges, direct publishers, and emerging supply partners (e.g., CTV platforms, retail media networks, gaming environments).
  • Negotiate high-value deals and expand existing partnerships to integrate cutting-edge product features and inventory advancements, focusing on supply path optimization (SPO) and inventory quality.
  • Identify and commercialize new inventory offerings, including advanced CTV, DOOH, in-game, retail media, and high-impact immersive formats, ensuring Cadent maintains a competitive edge.
  • Support an alignment of internal sellers on the optimal supply strategy for RFP responses and business development

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on the latest supply-side trends, ad formats, and technological advancements, including server-side integrations, identity solutions, and attention metrics.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of the competitive landscape, developing clear POVs and differentiators for each supply partner.

Technical Integration & Performance Optimization

  • Work together with Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless technical integrations, troubleshoot delivery issues, and maintain optimal connectivity with partners.
  • Manage company-wide inventory governance and technical specifications, ensuring brand safety and adherence to industry standards.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of inventory performance using advanced data analytics to identify high-performing partners, publishers, and media types.
Qualifications
  • 5-8 years' experience in the digital advertising industry, prior experience working at a DSP/SSP/Exchange a plus
  • Must understand online advertising dynamics, trends, and technologies; and campaign planning & buying (including RTB)
  • Possess strong analytical framework and ability to problem solve highly technical issues
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work with colleagues and external vendors at all levels; deep relationship building expertise
  • Strong problem solving and consulting skills
  • Must be able to see the big picture and be able to rally others behind that picture
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Effective time management skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, proactive prioritizaton, and delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS Degree required
