Opportunity

Under the direction of the Senior Manager - Finance, Commercial Operations, the Senior Finance Analyst will lead the finance support for the S&OP process and Orders, Sales, and Standard Margin forecasting across all product category and channel segments for Kitchen & Bath North America (KBNA).

This role will oversee and optimize all aspects of forecasting Kitchen & Bath North America's Trade Programs, Promotional Spend, Sales, and Standard Margin. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring KPIs and metrics, reporting on trends, explaining key variances, and translating complex data into actionable insights to enhance business performance and profitability, ultimately driving key decision-making across the organization.  

The Senior Finance Analyst will find innovative ways to deliver one source of truth (dashboarding, etc.) to measure financial performance against Plan and use these insights to inform Kohler's Leadership Team's and drive agile business decisions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Finance Support for the S&OP process and own Forecasting Orders/Sales/Standard Margin:
  • Partner with Senior Manager - FP&A on timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations Planning team to forecast Orders and Sales for all KBNA product category and channel segments, directly providing Finance support for the S&OP team.
  • Manage price & standard cost inputs and calculations to assign dollar values to S&OP unit demand projections, including pricing and promotional activity, ensuring accurate forecasts for orders, sales, and standard margins
  • Centralize and enhance standard margin forecasting and reporting for all KBNA product category and channel segments
  • Improve input quality to reduce manual intervention.
  • Forecast trade programs and promotional spend activity impacting Standard Margin
  • Improve and simplify reporting to support decision making, adding self-service reporting tools for the organization.
  • Consolidate Close/Forecast Activity and Credit Requests establishing Commercial Operations as a center of excellence supporting the Sales and Marketing Finance team
  • Centralize accounting for rebates, promotional activity, and Cost of Sales @ Standard
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and FP&A on payments, credits, etc.
  • Evaluate existing processes for opportunities and redesign for higher levels of efficiency and accuracy while supporting business partners with high quality reporting and insights.
  • Support the creation and implementation of Top of Waterfall / Price Margin Realization reporting for more effective management of Trade Programs (Rebates, Builder, Co-Op, etc.), Promotional Spend, and price realization.
