Sr. Maintenance Supervisor
Location: St. Louis, MO, US
The Senior Supervisor, Maintenance is a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all site equipment and maintenance operations at the St. Louis TTH site. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians, drives preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and partners with engineering and operations to optimize up time, reduce costs, and enable safe, efficient production
Your key responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians; drive accountability and performance
  • Lead daily maintenance activities including corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
  • Partner with Maintenance Planner to prioritize work orders and optimize schedules. Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement to reduce downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Track and manage KPIs such as uptime, PM completion, and backlog. Manage spare parts inventory and vendor coordination
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams

You bring
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
  • Strong leadership and team development skills along with Problem-solving and root cause analysis capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to safety and operational excellence

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary range: $100,000-$110,000.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
