Position: Senior/Mid-level Mainframe Lead/Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

on W2

Banking, Payments, Financial Services, or FinTech experience is required. Prior experience supporting payment processing or card-based applications is highly preferred.

Experience - 10-15 Years only

Reporting To: Technical Manager

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS optional.
  • Perform impact analysis, estimation, coding, unit testing, and defect resolution.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support including abend resolution and batch monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and solution design.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Handle version control and deployment using SCM tools like Endevor preferred (Changeman, ISPW, PANVALET).
  • Lead or mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Engage in client communication and status reporting.
