Sr. Cobol Developer with SAS

As a Sr. Cobol Developer with SAS, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Base SAS Programmer, CICS COBOL, COBOL, Dev, QA, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), IBM MVS Z/OS, JCL, Platform Engineering - Mainframe, and Wealth & Asset Management. You will work closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of projects and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software applications using COBOL programming language
  • Work on SAS programming for data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
  • Perform quality assurance testing on software applications
  • Utilize File Transfer Protocol (FTP) for data exchange
  • Work on IBM MVS Z/OS operating system
  • Create and modify JCL (Job Control Language) scripts
  • Contribute to Platform Engineering - Mainframe projects
  • Utilize knowledge of Wealth & Asset Management in software development
Requirements:Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Base SAS Programmer
  • Experience with CICS COBOL and COBOL programming languages
  • Knowledge of Dev and QA processes
