About the role:

Perform routine operational tasks following established procedures. Monitor production systems and escalate issues as needed. Maintainaccuratelogs and documentation for compliance and audit.Assistin process improvements andparticipatein team projects. At senior levels: mentor junior associates and coordinate small workstreams.

Intermediate-level position encapsulating an individual contributor who manages projects that significantly influence departmental outcomes. The colleague is expected to guide and support less experienced peers while making targeted improvements to systems and processes.Role involves solving problems that require sound judgment, with oversight from management as needed.Communication spans both internally and externally within the department, focusing on the exchange of information relevant to the role's responsibilities. Routine tasks are performed with limitedsupervisionand the colleague provides training andassistanceto others. The position typically requires a combination of advanced education and hands-on experience in the relevant job area.

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What you will be doing:

  • Reviews job schedule list for assigned jobs,locatesthe correct job materials/tickets on the finishing floor and reviews job specification sheet(s) to complete finishing work. Completes set-up of assigned Finishing machines (e.g.folder, Muller, die cutter, guillotine cutter, saddle stitcher, etc.) by loading job materials and selecting specific components/configurations. Proficientlyoperates1 or more Finishing machines per specifications to complete finishing work for assigned jobs.

  • Evaluates a production sampleproducingproduction to ensure adherence to client specifications and quality checklists. Performs adjustments/actions if necessary.

  • Packages finished product in cartons, boxes, or pallets and reviews completed packaging to ensure adherence to ticket instructions, prior to routing for shipment.

  • Documents job information such as material usage/scrap and production time and enters data into Monarch database to provide cost tracking/client billing by cost center.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

TypicallyMinimum4Years Relevant Experience

  • Skills / Knowledge - Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

  • Job Complexity - Works on assignments that are routine to moderately difficult,requiring decisionin resolving issues or in making recommendations.

  • Supervision - Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
