By joining this particular High Performance Computing (HPC) prime contract, you'll help maintain and advance the computing infrastructure that powers unprecedented mission-critical analysis, scientific discovery, and scalable national security outcomes.As a Sr. System Administrator on this program, you will help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. US citizenship is required.Required Skills:Ability to: Skilled with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu): configure and manage Linux and Unix operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceUnderstanding of HPC architecture: knowledge of high-speed networks such as InfiniBand and Slingshot Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Salt, and AnsibleOS Install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networkingBASH scripting, software compilation, and install. Superior IT trouble shooting skills: analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integrationProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problemsOptimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planningProvide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processSupport the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardwarePossess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical disciplineMinimum of ten (10) years of system administration experience or fifteen (15) years' experience in lieu of degree.DoD 8570 IAT II level certification___________________________________________________________________The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
