This position is onsite in Chantilly, VA. This is a long-term opportunity supporting a national leader in enterprise IT modernization and cybersecurity. Responsibilities for the RHEL Engineer include: ยท Configure, validate, and maintain enterprise systems in compliance with DISA STIG requirements. ยท Administer and support applications within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. ยท Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain Shell (Bash/Sh) scripts to support application management and automation. ยท Utilize SteelCloud ConfigOS to achieve and maintain enterprise STIG compliance. ยท Manage and support servers within Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure virtual and cloud environments. ยท Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable system operations.
