Familiarity with tools like IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Gradle, and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Ktor, along with experience in RESTful APIs and version control systems, is typically required. What is a senior Kotlin developer?

Senior Kotlin Developers are experienced software engineers who specialize in developing applications using the Kotlin programming language. They typically work on backend services, Android applications, or cross-platform solutions, leveraging Kotlin’s modern features and interoperability with Java. In addition to coding, they often lead teams, design software architecture, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in software development. Their expertise is valuable for companies seeking efficient, scalable, and maintainable codebases, especially in environments where Kotlin is a primary technology.

What are some common challenges senior Kotlin developers face when integrating Kotlin with existing Java codebases?

Senior Kotlin Developers often work on projects where Kotlin is gradually introduced to legacy Java codebases.
