Job description

The Test Engineer role is a key position with responsibility for defining and executing test procedures for the purpose of validating and improving product behavior and reliability. This role encompasses feature validation, bug fix verification, identifying, reporting, and potentially triaging problems, and identifying opportunities for improvement.ย 

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute sophisticated test cases and procedures to validate intricate product features and functionality
  • Independently identify, document, and articulate bugs or defects with precision and reproducibility
  • Lead collaboration across cross-functional teams to define and achieve comprehensive test coverage aligned with product strategy
  • Drive validation of new product features, ensuring adherence to design specifications and user requirements
  • Perform rigorous functional, regression, and exploratory testing, integrating automation where applicable
  • Lead triaging and root cause analysis of complex issues, prioritizing resolutions effectively
  • Innovate and implement enhancements to testing methodologies, tools, and workflows, enhancing overall quality
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of test plans, results, and known issues, ensuring clarity and accessibility

Requirements
