The Market Risk Technology Engineering Team is looking to on-board aself-starting, high-performingJava software engineer with a strong engineering mindset to help us grow our risk & valuation applications throughsoftware design anditsimplementation in Java.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to thestrategic growth and implementation of our risk & valuation applications

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate

  • 10-15+ years of Java experience

  • Experience in the Spring tech stack and building microservices using Spring Boot

  • Experience in designing and integrating with REST APIs,gRPCendpoints.

  • Experience working withmessaging technologies(Kafka)(ZeroMQ, GoogleProtoBuf- a plus)

  • Experience withHadoop, Spark,Parquetor similar Big Datatechnologies

  • Experience with RDBMS, demonstrable fluency in SQL

  • Experience of Git, CI/CD toolset (Maven / Gradle), Jenkins, working within an Agile environment

  • Strong understanding of clean coding practices

  • Experience working with scalable and low latencysystems

  • A passion for simplifying and automating work, for making things better, for being efficient and helpingothers

  • Strong communicationskills.Experience in collaborating efficiently within a global team.
