Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team developing enterprise-grade backend services for a modern Investor Book of Record (IBOR) platform.

This role combines advanced backend engineering with AI-assisted software development practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable, low-latency Java applications while leveraging modern AI development tools to improve productivity and software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise backend components for the IBOR platform.

  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs following enterprise best practices.

  • Design solutions optimized for concurrency, multithreading, and low-latency processing.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Product Managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.

  • Participate in architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise engineering standards.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.


AI-Assisted Development Responsibilities

Candidates should be comfortable using AI-powered development tools throughout the SDLC, including:

  • AI-assisted code generation
