Job Description

Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.ย 

Oversees testing and develops fixes. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5years of experience in the field or in a related area.ย 

Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.ย 

Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.ย 

Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

Qualifications

Requires 4-6 years of experience in software development with 2-3 years of experience in Telecom/Media developing large and critical systems

4-6 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Java applications using JAVA, J2EE

3 - 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE, with web services technologies

3 - 5 years of strong experience with XML(SAX/DOM), XSLT and SOAPย 

2 - 4 Years of experience in developing applications in Oracle PL/SQL, Pentaho, ETL tools

2 - 4 years of GUI/web development experience using Java/J2EE technologies and MVC framework will be plusย 

2-4 years of experience in SOA ย 

Familiarity with BEA weblogic

Worked on NO SQL DB like Couchbaseย 

Has experience developing REST interfaces

Has deployed code to Cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Pivotal Lab's Cloud Foundry
