What You'll Do

You'll own your merchandise categories from concept to customer.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Build exciting merchandise assortments that drive sales and delight customers.
  • Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and customer demand to make smart buying decisions.
  • Source new vendors and discover fresh products that keep Maroon U ahead of the competition.
  • Negotiate pricing, freight, payment terms, and vendor partnerships.
  • Forecast inventory and manage replenishment to maximize sales while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Present new collections and business recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Marketing to launch new products, promotions, photoshoots, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Work closely with Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Store Leadership to ensure flawless product launches.
  • Travel to apparel markets and trade shows to discover emerging brands and industry trends.
