Hyundai-Mobis Parts Miami (MPMI), LLC, a subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, is seeking a Sr. Inventory Data Analyst to join our Miami, FL team. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory levels, supply chain data, and customer demand data to optimize operations improve parts availability, and support operational excellence.

All candidates should posses advanced analytical skills, ability to forecast inventory levels, be able to optimize systems efficiency, and be able to report data to support decision making. Candidates have previous experience in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, forecasting, project leadership, and be able to effective work with other teams in a collaborative and efficient cross-functional manner.


Key Proficiencies Include

- Inventory Analytics + Optimization = 30%

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

  • Analyze parts supply data and customer sales order data to evaluate inventory performance and report current supply status.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute periodic supply chain and inventory performance reports, including KPI trends, performance metrics, and management dashboards.
  • Monitor inventory health and identify opportunities to improve stock availability while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate and execute periodic MOBIS PDC stock transfers to optimize inventory levels across distribution centers.
  • Provide inventory-related data, reports, and analytical support to internal stakeholders as requested.
  • Develop initial inventory plans and purchasing recommendations for newly launched vehicle models using historical demand trends and forecasting methodologies.
  • Plan and maintain appropriate inventory levels for new and existing campaign parts sourced from global MOBIS suppliers.
  • Support departmental process improvement initiatives, system enhancement projects, and operational excellence programs.
  • Assist management with data-driven decision-making through analytical reporting and business recommendations.

Nonessential Functions

  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added to the company’s discretion.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, reporting, special projects, and data requests

Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or Mathematics.
  • 3-5 years experience in data analytics, inventory planning, forecasting, supply chain operations, or related fields.
  • Experience in inventory optimization, demand forecasting, SQL, or data analysis is preferred but not required.
  • Automotive service parts or supply chain industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated capability, potential for growth, and willingness to learn will be considered more important than years of experience alone.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Access, or similar reporting tools is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights.
  • Understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and statistical analysis concepts.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new systems and analytical tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, automation technologies, data analytics platforms, or the application of AI to improve business processes and operational efficiency will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Ability to leverage emerging technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance supply chain performance and decision-making processes.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50%.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
