Job Summary

Working as a Regional Controller you will be responsible for assisting with monthly fiscal close, forecast, and budgets, including preparation of financial statements for assigned Regions or Subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be highly motivated professional with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members and levels of management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the oversight of monthly P&L and balance sheet activity, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies
  • Direct the review of general ledger and balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving reconciliation issues in a timely manner
  • Oversee the reconciliation and analysis of key ledger accounts, including bank account activity, cashless transactions, accounts receivable, and inventory
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance and financial integrity
  • Drive the preparation of financial reporting, including flash reports, forecasts, and budgets
  • Analyze financial performance across accounts and service lines, delivering clear, actionable insights to operations and client stakeholders
  • Partner closely with the RVP and operations leadership to drive profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance
  • Assist in the assessment of new business and retention proposals, including the review and enforcement of contractual obligations
  • Support and lead special projects, including strategic initiatives supporting regional, divisional, and sector priorities
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 4–5 direct reports, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture
  • Champion the training, development, and continuous improvement of accounting staff across assigned branches.
  • Analyze financial performance across accounts and service lines, delivering clear, actionable insights to operations and client stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with the RVP and operations leadership to drive profitability, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Assist in the assessment of new business and retention proposals, incuding the review and enforement of contractual obligations. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of five 7 years of accounting experience with 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive results
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively partner with operations and senior leadership
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
