Job description

Becker Pumps Americas is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys owning their work, digging into the numbers, and being part of a hands-on finance team. The Senior Accountant will have exposure across the business, with responsibility for financial reporting, month-end close, processing payroll, cost accounting, inventory, and process improvement.



Responsibilities:

  • Own key components of the month-end and year-end close
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Process company payroll and manage related payroll procedure
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Support cost accounting and inventory control activities
  • Prepare daily and monthly sales and operational reporting
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Support 401(k) administration and certificate of insurance request
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain GAAP compliance
  • Oversee electronic invoicing and assist with collection activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and controls


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent relevant experience
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting and inventory
  • Hands-on experience processing and managing payroll
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookup
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
  • Paylocity experience is a plus, but not required
