Job Description

This position develops and maintains robust data measurement and monitoring frameworks of our asset inventory pools that support business objectives and inform senior leadership for decision-making. It supports the overall effectiveness of asset inventory management by delivering accurate reporting and data analysis to drive optimal asset utilization and control. This position acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into effective analytical insights and system solutions.

 
Job Duties
  • Lead inventory optimization strategies that reduce excess inventory, improve utilization, and deliver measurable cost savings and working capital efficiency.
  • Own and be accountable for asset performance KPIs (Asset Utilization, Under/Over Supply, Sell-Off Plans), driving performance against defined targets and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Own and lead the quarterly inventory shortage forecasting strategy, partnering with Product Marketing and Sales Leadership to align supply with demand and mitigate risk
  • Partner with Marketing/Finance leadership to align asset performance metrics with financial planning, budgeting, and ROI tracking.
  • Drive excess and obsolescence strategy, owning quarterly analysis and leading cross-functional mitigation actions to reduce aging and stagnant inventory.
  • Owns execution and delivery to leadership of quarterly excess and obsolescence analysis to identify slow/stagnate inventory.
  • Communication with product management and internal asset management colleagues of decisions for disposition of inventory as well as any necessary escalations.
  • Represent, support, and maintain all Asset Management based IT initiatives including any regional/global asset tracking systems that will be used functionally by our local sales/marketing teams and transactionally by the sales operations team
  • Use existing or develop inventory reporting through various systems to analyze inventory and communicate updates to stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all data systems and operating software to ensure systems communications and monitor for accuracy.
  • Accountable to prepare any financial documents to obtain management approvals for disposal per the regional control framework and finance/departmental procedures.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify trends, enhance data quality, resolve data discrepancies and streamline processes. Ensures data accuracy, compliance with company policies, and alignment with business objectives
  • Own the end-to-end execution and successful completion of Asset Management Exit Audit requirements, ensuring full compliance with organizational and compliance standards
  • Own and oversee Asset Management-related ship hold requirements, ensuring timely return creation and communication with operational priorities.
  • Support the Asset Management departments with system integration error resolution as required.
  • Embrace a continuous improvement culture and deliver general support Asset Management activities.
  • Perform other related duties and/or work as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Post Secondary Education required; College or University degree is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience related to Asset Inventory Analytics required.
  • Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem solution skills.
  • A high level of computer literacy with proven experience using systems that support inventory management Excel / Word etc.
  • Attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The anticipated starting base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $60,823.00 - $82,111.00 plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
