Job Description:
About the Role:
We are seeking a Sr Financial Analyst, Inventory & Planning, for an outstanding opportunity in our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. This role supports and serves as a key finance partner for the business and cross-functional leaders. This role is responsible for providing financial analysis and support for Inventory and Planning as part of TreeHouse Foods Supply Chain Finance function. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with Supply Chain Business partners to manage, track, and forecast Inventory levels for both finished and non-finished goods, understand inventory reserves, and participate in strategic initiatives to lower working capital and reduce waste.
You'll add value to this role through the following, but not limited to:
  • Develop accurate monthly inventory forecasts and the annual inventory plan and support monthly reporting for the planning organization.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Supply Chain finance teams to report on inventory and related reserves.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities for reporting and master data management.
  • Develop, enhance, and analyze reports that provide trends and insights into key performance metrics for Business Units, categories, and key customers.
  • Participate as the Finance representative in Business Unit supply and demand planning reviews to ensure that business updates included there are aligned and properly reflected in inventory forecasts and planning.
  • Collaborate with the Category and Supply Chain Finance teams to identify opportunities to streamline reporting, enhance analytical capabilities, and improve effectiveness of metrics and insights to support overall business performance.
  • Support consistent, baseline financial reporting across divisions to enable comparability across the company.

  • This is a full-time hybrid role based in Oak Brook, Illinois.
  • The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $78,700.00 - $118,100.00 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • 3-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles, preferably within a CPG or manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced financial and analytical foundation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial or ERP systems.
