We are seeking an experienced insurance sales professional motivated by compensation and achieving corporate objectives. This role offers a genuine growth opportunity within the company, working across business and distribution channels with a focus on vertical initiatives, program business, existing client relationships, and target markets.

Position Overview

The Senior Insurance Development Executive will assume a growth-focused role within the organization, with responsibility for driving revenue, managing program initiatives, and supporting both existing and new business development efforts.

This is an in office-based position in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, that requires travel to meet with clients, attend conventions, and participate in industry seminars.

Our schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Our personnel policy requires all employees to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company's business attire and grooming standards, including our clean-shaven policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate program initiatives across business and distribution teams
  • Execute vertical market strategies
  • Drive new business development in targeted markets, associations, MGAs, and large commercial insurance agencies
  • Collaborate with internal sales staff and marketing teams
  • Support and expand existing programs and initiatives
  • Attend client meetings, industry conventions, and seminars

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working for a medium-sized insurance agency, MGAs, aggregator or program administration
  • Proven track record in commercial insurance sales to small and mid-sized businesses
  • Insurance Program Market knowledge
  • Strong product knowledge of:
    • Professional Liability
    • General Liability
    • Business Owner's Policy (BOP)
    • EPLI
    • Cyber Liability
    • Directors & Officers (D&O)
    • Fiduciary Liability
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Business Suite and CRM familiarity
