The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $120,000 - $140,000 CAD at the time of posting. Finalcompensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education,experience, knowledge, and skills

Tasks and Qualifications:

Project Initiation / Integration:

  • Lead the initiation and planning of highly complex, strategic projects, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all necessary activities, resources, and timelines, utilizing advanced project management techniques and tools.

  • Establish and maintain project governance structures, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.

  • Develop business cases and project charters, securing stakeholder buy-in and alignment.

Project Schedule and Resource Management:

  • Lead and motivate high-performing project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment mentoring project team members on project management best practices.

  • Develop and implement resource management plans, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of project resources across multiple projects.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated project plan using standard tools and methods that align with contractual requirements.

  • Manage dependencies between project tasks and activities, ensuring seamless integration and timely completion.

  • Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and budgets.

Stakeholder and Communication Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, ensuring effective and timely communication with all stakeholders.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.

  • Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.

Education & Certifications

  • Relevant project management experience may be substituted for a degree.

Direction and Key Working Relationships
  • Works independently with minimal supervision. Provides guidance and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Practitioners, and Associate Project Managers.

  • Internal: All Project Stakeholders, including senior management and executive leadership.

  • External: Interacts with external vendors, consultants, and clients, independently managing those relationships within the scope of assigned projects. Serves as a key point of contact for external project-related inquiries and represents the organization in external forums.

  • Travel: Up to 40% travel may be required to support project execution.
