They work closely with project managers, clients, and technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, meet requirements, and function as intended. Their role often includes designing implementation plans, troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and training end-users. Senior Implementation Engineers typically bring several years of experience and deep technical expertise, enabling them to guide projects from initial planning to successful completion.

What are some common challenges faced by senior implementation engineers during large-scale software deployments?

Senior Implementation Engineers often encounter challenges such as managing complex integrations with existing client systems, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines, and troubleshooting unexpected technical issues during deployment. Communication is key, as these engineers frequently serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal developers, and project managers. • Collaborate with project managers, healthcare IT teams, and customers to ensure successful implementations
  • Support and lead data migration activities during project transitions
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform diagnostics remotely or onโ€‘site
  • Deliver technical training sessions and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within deployment processes

  • Have working knowledge of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) and basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
  • Be confident leading technical deployments and customer discussions independently
  • Be detailโ€‘oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Be willing to work occasional offโ€‘hours to support customer goโ€‘lives or urgent system needs
Niceโ€‘toโ€‘haves (not required to apply):
  • Prior experience deploying or administering PACS, RIS, or VNA solutions in a healthcare environment
  • Familiarity with cloudโ€‘hosted infrastructure or hybrid deployment models
  • Understanding of security best practices (data encryption, certificates, VPN tunnels, authentication protocols)
  • Experience with data migrations, system upgrades, or disaster recovery planning
  • Exposure to Linuxโ€‘based servers or containerized environments
  • Experience providing technical training or customer onboarding sessions
Why this role?
  • Youโ€™ll directly contribute to solutions that improve healthcare workflows and patient outcomes
  • Youโ€™ll gain experience with complex enterprise imaging environments and global deployments
  • Itโ€™s a strong growth opportunity toward senior engineering, project management, or solution architecture roles
  • Youโ€™ll join a missionโ€‘driven team solving realโ€‘world challenges in healthcare
