Job Overview

The Department of Neuroradiology at the West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Neuroradiologist (ranks: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties

In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will actively involve in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for state medical licensure.
  • Completed radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship program.
  • ABR eligible/certified and Neuroradiology CAQ eligible/certified.
  • All qualifications met by the time of appointment.
Department Overview

The WVU Neuroradiology Department is an innovative initiative that integrates neurological care, research, and education. It offers a full gamut of advanced neuroimaging services that underpin all facets of clinical and academic neurosciences—from early diagnosis to neuroimaging‑guided brain therapies for a wide range of functional and cognitive disorders. It manages a large MRI operation and provides consultation services to the entire health system.

An imaging analytics and informatics division spearheads initiatives in artificial intelligence and federated research, potentially transforming multi‑center research collaboration, clinical trials, and big‑data‑driven patient care. The department has a nationally recognized neurointerventional program and two accredited fellowship programs: a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship (ACGME) and an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship (CAST).

The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) is a comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care, education, and research institute that provides neurological and mental healthcare through more than 300,000 visits annually.
