Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust desktop, web, and containerized applications.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Windows Forms/WPF/Avalonia applications while contributing to modernization efforts.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers by sharing your unique experience and knowledge.
  • Manage individual project priorities, requirements, deadlines, and deliverables

Qualifications Required:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency with version control systems (git), software analysis and design, and the software development life cycle.
  • Experience developing unit tests and utilizing testing frameworks such as xUnit
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in .NET development
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools using source control, automated build/test, and code coverage analysis tools, preferably Jenkins.
  • Experience in GUI development (Windows Forms, WPF, Avalonia, Web applications)

  • Open to travel to customer sites when needed.

The following skills are a plus:

  • Experience with containerized .NET development, ADO, Entity Framework, WebAPI
  • Experience with service architectures / cluster computing: AWS, Azure; Monitoring and telemetry; Asynchronous messaging (Redis / RabbitMQ or equivalent).
  • Experience with scalable and fault-tolerant SQL, NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with lightweight databases (e.g. SQLite, LiteDB)
  • Programming for high availability and high scalability applications
  • Experience developing and implementing Image processing algorithms
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
