THE ROLE:
The Human Resources Technology (HRT) team at AMD is seeking a Sr HRIS Analyst with advanced expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the Employee Central module, with a strong emphasis on integrating and managing 3rd Party interfaces.
THE PERSON:
You are an organized and natural leader, consistently communicating with clarity and moving work forward efficiently. You will serve as the SME (subject matter expert) for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration and design and will lead requirements gathering and solutioning for HR enhancements. You'll act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, and manage the full lifecycle of system changes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serving as SME, you will handle configurations including:
  • Role-Based Permissions
  • Configuration SAP SuccessFactors Data Model (field level configuration) as well as leveraging MDF for customer-specific requirements
  • Work with SuccessFactors Reporting
  • Managing UI screens and custom MDF (Meta Data Framework) portlets within Employee Profile
  • Position Management, MDF objects, and Foundation Objects
  • Configuring Business Rules and Workflow
  • Lead the design and configuration of system enhancements and projects as it relates to SuccessFactors Employee Central. Understanding impacts to other SuccessFactors modules such as Onboarding, Compensation, Performance Management, etc. and alignment with business requirements.
  • Design and enhance 3rd party integrations from SAP/SuccessFactors based upon requirements gathered from HR COEs and IT. Partner closely with IT to ensure solutions requirements are met.
  • Oversee and resolve issues related to Employee Central/Time Management processes.
  • Act as the primary liaison between COE Business Users and IT Technical Teams, providing SAP SuccessFactors HCM expertise to clarify requirements and system functionality.
  • Facilitate and document business requirements, translating them into system solutions through direct configuration or collaboration with IT/third-party resources.
  • Develop sustainable system solutions and processes for efficient data management and interface operations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of project/enhancement life cycles, including analysis, scope definition, process improvement, and testing.
  • Ensure successful rollout and ongoing support of Employee Central, Onboarding 2.0, and 3rd Party interface projects/enhancements.
  • Partner with business and process owners to gather requirements and solution to HR Technology system capabilities in AMD HR Tech landscape
  • Manage change requests related to SuccessFactors configuration and interface functions, accommodating evolving business needs.
  • Provide status updates and escalate issues/risks as necessary.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Employee Central Time Off and Time Sheet configuration and maintenance (Time Types, Accruals, Rules) is desired, but not required
  • Proven expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central design and configuration is highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing 3rd Party HR system interfaces
  • Experience with designing and configuring Story Reporting (embedded people analytics) in SAP SuccessFactors
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design skills
  • Ability to interpret HR systems technical and procedural documentation
  • Attention to detail and data analysis skills
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong HR Technology experience
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0, Performance & Goals Management, Talent Management, Employee Central Time Off/Time Sheet, and Compensation Management a plus
  • Experience with implementation of SuccessFactors Joule and/or HCM GenAI Features or working on AI related projects is desired, but not required

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred
  • SuccessFactors Certification in Employee Central
