Job description

Client Support & Operations Assistant

Senior Helpers 

Senior Helpers is a growing in-home care agency serving seniors and their families. We’re looking for a dependable, customer-service-driven Client Support & Operations Assistant to help manage phones, billing support, and day-to-day operational gaps as we continue to scale.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys helping people, and can adapt to changing needs throughout the day.


Key Responsibilities

Phone & Client Support (Primary Focus)

    • Answer incoming calls from clients, caregivers, and referral partners

    • De-escalate concerns, listen empathetically, and route calls appropriately

    • Serve as a reliable “first line” support so schedulers and leadership can stay focused

    • Provide coverage through 5:00 PM on assigned days

Billing & Payroll Support (10–15 hrs/week, varies)

    • Assist with billing and payroll tasks including:

      • Declined payments

      • Long-term care (LTC) insurance follow-ups

      • Deposits, refunds, and basic payment issues

    • Work closely with leadership to resolve issues efficiently

Operational Gap Coverage

    • Step in when team members are out or overloaded

    • Assist with light scheduling support when needed

    • Transfer calls appropriately to HR, Nursing, Scheduling, or Leadership depending on the situation

Flexible Weekend Support 

    • Availability to support phones or urgent issues on weekends

    • Schedule is flexible and planned in advance when possible

    • Basic comfort with billing, payments, or administrative work (training provided)

    • Ability to triage issues and know when to escalate
