The Senior Contracts Administrator supports contract administration/management and closeout for a portfolio of complex government contracts. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience or an aptitude to leverage technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and/or automation tools to help drive efficiencies, improve workflow, and reduce risk in the contracts department.  This position requires the ability to work in our North Bethesda, MD office 5 days/week. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of contractual documents, including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Prime/Subcontracts, and Vendor Agreements.

  • Create and maintain accurate contract records in contract management database, ensuring data integrity in accordance with corporate policy and federal contracting requirements.

  • Ensure all contract actions are executed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

  • Leverage existing and/or identify new technologies to help drive departmental efficiencies and improve cross-functional workflows with other departments.

  • Stay informed on emerging Artificial Intelligence trends and other technologies related to contracts to help recommend strategies for performing functional tasks better, smarter, and faster.

  • Prepare documentation and assist and/or lead prime contract/task order kickoff meetings with internal program personnel.

  • Monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance, performance, and deliverables.

  • Assist with managing contract management tools and identify areas of improvement for automation where applicable.

  • Support ongoing internal audits, reporting, and other contract-related initiatives as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 3-5 years of experience managing federal government contracts.

  • Demonstrated experience with or aptitude for AI and/or Technology focused solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).

  • Hands-on experience with various contract types (T&M, FFP, Cost-Reimbursable, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey contract terms and implications to stakeholders.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint; experience with contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to work in our North Bethesda, MD office 5 days/week.
