Job description

Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to support evaluation of a Federal Healthcare Agency’s organization structure, programs, processes, and knowledge management practices. The Senior Analyst will lead execution of the tasks while also supporting implementation. This role blends hands-on analytical work with meeting facilitation and logistics support, keeping the engagement’s most execution-heavy task area organized and on schedule. The ideal candidate with experience leading analytical work (e.g., current/future state process mapping, structured staff interviews). The Senior Analyst will also support project coordination, meeting facilitation, and documentation.

Program/Process Assessment & Re-Engineering Leadership 
  • Lead execution of the Program/Process Assessment and Re-Engineering task by reviewing SOPs and work instructions, conducting structured staff interviews, and identifying throughput constraints across the priority programs/processes selected for assessment and redesign 
  • Develop current-state and future-state program/process maps, including flow diagrams identifying steps, decision points, handoffs, and responsible parties 
  • Support development of baseline metrics and help validate future-state designs against the SOW’s cycle-time-reduction targets 

Implementation Planning Support 

  • Support development of the phased implementation roadmap, sequencing recommended changes based on priority, dependencies, and resource availability 
  • Support identification of roles, responsibilities, dependencies, and scheduling for implementation activities 

Meeting Facilitation & Logistics/Administration 

  • Facilitate meetings across the engagement, including scheduling, materials preparation, and logistics coordination 
  • Lead administrative support functions for the team, ensuring documentation, scheduling, and cross-task coordination run smoothly 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 10+ years of experience in business process assessment, process re-engineering, and/or management consulting 
  • PMP certification (or similar) required 
  • Demonstrated experience developing current-state/future-state process maps and flow diagrams 
  • Strong meeting facilitation and organizational/logistics skills 
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship. 
  • Ability to obtain public trust. 

Preferred Qualification 

  • PMP certification strongly preferred (or equivalent) 
  • Prior experience supporting HHS, its subagencies, or another federal health/regulatory agency 
  • Experience supporting organizational assessment, program evaluation, or business process improvement engagements 
  • Working familiarity with FAR/HHSAR administrative and reporting requirements 
  • Experience coordinating integrated project teams that include subcontractor personnel

The posted salary range is the company’s good-faith estimate for this role. PFS benefits and compensation are determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, location; the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; as well as contract and organizational requirements.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $145,000
