 Senior Assistant Manager | Dos Toros Taqueria

Compensation: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time (45 hours per week; overtime may be scheduled or worked based on business needs)

How You'll Support Your Restaurant & General Manager

As a Senior Assistant Manager, you will lead shifts, support daily operations, and partner with your General Manager to drive excellence by:

  • Cultivating Culture: Fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment where all team members feel welcome and respected.

  • Delivering Hospitality: Prioritizing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm, fast-paced guest experience during peak times.

  • Developing Talent: Training, coaching, and mentoring hourly team members to support our internal promotion and talent pipeline, including identifying and developing key store trainers.

  • Upholding Standards: Maintaining strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures to ensure our food is always safe, fresh, and delicious.

  • Ensuring Workplace Safety: Promoting safe working conditions to minimize risks, accidents, and injuries.

  • Certifications: Active ServSafe Manager certification (and any required local or state food safety certifications).

  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members, giving clear direction and accurately exchanging information.

  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers, tablets, POS systems, and store management platforms.

  • Dexterity & Physical Demands: Manual dexterity required to operate kitchen tools, food prep equipment, and cutting tools safely; ability to stand for long periods and capability to regularly lift or move items up to 30 lbs.
