Summary Statement
The principal responsibilities for the Systems Administration Analyst is to provide highly effective technical support for DTI's technical infrastructure. Highly effective means that the services for the assigned assets are provided in a way that is efficient, meets the needs of the customers (both DTI and other state agencies) and customers in compliance with DTI policy and procedures. The services will be primarily rendered through a combination of personal effort, joint effort with others in the workgroup, and collaboration with other DTI staff, vendors, and customers.
The Systems Administration Analyst is expected to possess strong technical proficiency in one or more of the core Technology Domains, technical proficiency in several others, and technical awareness in the rest. The incumbent will report to the System Administration Manager. Day to day task assignments may be provided by a Senior Analyst in the workgroup.

Possess a bachelor's degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, Network Security, or a related field.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for the DTI Systems Administration Analyst
Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Possess a minimum of three years of technical experience in one or more of the core technical requirements and related product support in a 24x7 operational environment. Experience should include installation and configuration, version testing, debugging, installation of patches, direct technical vendor interactions. Specific technical components and/or skills are preferred with one or more of the Technology Domains listed below.
MidRange Server Support - Windows, LINUX, UNIX - Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012 and 2008, Red Hat/Oracle Enterprise Linux 7, 8, 9
Middleware Support - SFTP, Oracle IAM, SharePoint, XML, F5, IDPA
Web Engineering Support - WebSphere, Apache, IIS, XML
Configuration Management - Ansible, Desired State Config
Possess a minimum of one year of experience with configuration management tools and practices.
Possess good communications (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
