Join a dynamic full-service environmental firm expanding its Geotechnical Engineering Team. We're seeking a skilled and motivated professional to lead geotechnical projects, from field investigations and lab testing to design analysis and report preparation.
Enjoy working on diverse, exciting projects across the Pacific Northwest while contributing your expertise in foundations, slope stability, and retaining systems. This role offers career growth, team leadership opportunities, and competitive pay.
As Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll manage the geotechnical team to build their professional skills, you'll manage projects and clients, and you'll have the ability to grow a successful department.
Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Performing Geotechnical Field Explorations
  • Writing Daily Field Report
  • Completing Engineering Analyses
  • Preparing Geotechnical Engineering Reports and Deliverables
  • Performing Special Inspections during Construction
  • Managing Junior Level Staff and Managing Projects and Clients
  • Working with Company Management

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
  • Professional Licenses: PE, GE
  • 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Experience with geotechnical analysis software and tools
  • Strong knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
