Preferred employers include: Apple (hardware), Meta (Reality Labs), GE Healthcare, Medtronic, Stryker, Philips, Smith & Nephew REGULATORY EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED Candidates must have experience working within FDA-regulated environments or equivalent. This includes:

  • Portfolio must demonstrate simplification of complex systems, rationale-driven design decisions, and documentation that supports traceability, validation, and design controls
  • 2+ years designing GUIs for embedded systems or physical hardware in regulated domains
  • Experience designing for multi-platform software/hardware ecosystems (e.g., surgical consoles, touchscreens, desktop, mobile, embedded interfaces)
  • Experience collaborating directly with software engineering teams
  • 3+ years working in Agile product environments
