FOX is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help advance how we build, deliver, and operate large-scale production web applications in a regulated, high-traffic enterprise environment. This role will design and build scalable web applications across modern frontend experiences, backend services, and enterprise integrations while leveraging AI-native development workflows to improve engineering velocity and software quality.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will contribute to architecture, technical strategy, and engineering standards while partnering closely with product, design, platform, and architecture stakeholders. You will operate in an AI-assisted engineering environment, utilizing agentic development platforms and enterprise AI technologies to accelerate delivery, establish best practices, and ensure production-grade reliability, maintainability, security, and performance.

The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack engineering expertise with a pragmatic approach to software development, operational excellence, and emerging AI-assisted development methodologies.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend services
  • Develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality software solutions that serve large-scale enterprise and consumer-facing experiences
  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces while ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and APIs
  • Design and develop backend services, APIs, and integrations that support business-critical applications and workflows
  • Own application quality attributes including performance, reliability, accessibility, security, observability, and operational readiness
  • Improve application performance through profiling, optimization, monitoring, and scalable architectural patterns
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and help elevate engineering quality across the team
  • Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, testing strategies, documentation, and development workflows
  • Contribute to application architecture, system design decisions, and technical standards across multiple repositories and services
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows, release processes, and software development lifecycle best practices
  • Leverage agentic development platforms and AI-assisted engineering workflows to improve delivery efficiency and code quality
  • Establish repeatable patterns for AI-assisted development, including repository context, development standards, documentation, and governance
  • Integrate outputs from enterprise AI and data platforms into customer-facing and internal applications while ensuring reliability, scalability, and data integrity
  • Define and promote best practices for human-in-the-loop validation, code review, testing, deployment readiness, and responsible AI-assisted development
  • Improve developer experience through tooling, documentation, testing strategies, and workflow optimization
  • Participate in troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated ownership of complex features and systems in production environments
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with experience building modern web applications
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, Nuxt, Next.js, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of component-based architecture, design systems, and scalable frontend development practices
  • Experience developing backend services, APIs, and distributed application architectures
  • Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications in cloud-based environments
  • Strong knowledge of application performance optimization, observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support
  • Demonstrated ability to improve application reliability, scalability, maintainability, and security
  • Experience working with version control systems, code review processes, and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience operating within large, long-lived codebases and multi-repository environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release management practices, and software development lifecycle processes
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity and software quality
  • Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace a minimum of 3 days per week is an essential function of the position. Selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

  • Experience utilizing agentic development platforms including Claude Code, Codex, Replit, or similar tools
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership initiatives
  • Knowledge of submodule workflows and large-scale repository management
  • Experience with feature flags, caching strategies, CDN architectures, and web performance optimization
  • Understanding of application security fundamentals, including dependency management, secure API usage, frontend security best practices, and secure development methodologies
