Full Stack Developer (Java + ReactJS)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle using Java, Spring, and modern front-end frameworks, especially ReactJS. This role requires a detail-oriented, collaborative individual capable of delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant IT development experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on web development experience using Java and Spring.
  • 4+ years of UI/UX development experience with HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS (expert-level), jQuery, Node.js, and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience writing JUnit tests.
  • Proven ability to develop Single Page Applications (SPAs) with ReactJS.
  • Experience creating custom reusable React component libraries.
  • Database experience with any RDBMS, preferably SQL Server, and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience building REST APIs (JAX-RS, Swagger, YAML) and working with web services.
  • Basic knowledge of XML, JSON, and schema processing technologies.
Development Methodologies & Tools
  • Prior experience with Scrum, SAFe, or Lean Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or SVN.
  • Experience with build tools like Maven or Ant.
  • Knowledge of Spring MVC and Spring Batch.
  • Working experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins or Ansible Tower.
  • Proficiency with IDE tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, WebStorm, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A self-starter with strong motivation, ownership, and an innovation mindset.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions and contribute to system automation and analysis.
  • Capable of designing and developing common, shared, reusable solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
A competitive pay rate is offered for this contract position. Pay rate ranges from $55.00/hr to $65.06/hr. Specific benefits eligibility may apply.
