Job Summary
The Site Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of maintenance and outage execution for all assets across a multifunctional asset base. The position is also responsible for coordination and management of the site's 3rd party maintenance contract. The position is responsible for all asset, instrumentation, electrical, controls, and infrastructure maintenance across the site.
How You Can Be the Impact
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant engineering standards within Maintenance. Accountable for maintenance team's safety performance on both leading and lagging indicators
  • Directs all manufacturing preventative and breakdown maintenance to ensure that physical assets are maintained to the highest possible standard and production lines are continuously available to meet sales requirements
  • Implement and maintain optimum site Maintenance organization structure and oversee and manage staffing for maintenance, including 3rd party resident maintenance contractor team
  • Oversee knowledge and skill development for all maintenance team members assuring that the site team has the required expertise to execute all maintenance activities. Drive shared learning by employees. Lead interactions with EHS&S and other manufacturing resources to identify and implement best practices
  • Manage and optimize the Maintenance OPEX and CAPEX budget, assuring all maintenance related cost targets are met
  • Provide expertise, promote teamwork, and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, established targets, objectives and employee engagement goals.
  • Oversee maintenance execution for all production units across the site. Engage site stakeholders as needed consistent with aligned decision-making authority matrix
  • Oversee the planning and execution of plant outages, assuring compliance with EHSS, schedule, and cost targets
  • Manage 3rd party maintenance contract and interface with site contract manager to assure appropriate resource availability to execute all site maintenance activities

What Matters to SABIC
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering or related technical field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing, including operations, maintenance, or reliability fields
  • Prior experience in management, supervision, or team leadership preferred
  • Experience managing budgets and understanding business financials preferred
  • Experience effectively managing projects within timeline
  • You must present to the Company a valid Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard prior to commencing employment
