RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior Vue Developer to support a large-scale application modernization initiative focused on enhancing platform stability, performance, and user experience. This role will play a key part in modernizing a business-critical application by redesigning and rebuilding the user interface using the latest Vue.js framework while supporting broader cloud transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the redesign and redevelopment of existing front-end applications using modern Vue.js technologies
* Migrate legacy UI components and functionality to a scalable, maintainable architecture
* Collaborate with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences
* Develop responsive, accessible, and performance-driven web applications
* Integrate front-end applications with APIs and cloud-based services
* Participate in platform modernization efforts, including system upgrades and technology migrations
* Support application stability, observability, and performance improvement initiatives
* Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex front-end issues
* Contribute to Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and development best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of front end software engineering experience in an enterprise environment
* Expert on the front end with JavaScript and specifically Vue.JS
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform strongly preferred)
* Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate closely
* Demonstrable, hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools - specifically Claude and/or GitHub Copilot - to accelerate day-to-day development
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
