About the Role
We’re seeking compassionate Care Partners to support residents with daily living needs in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This position has a starting wage at $20 per hour. You’ll provide personal care, support meals and dining, and communicate important changes in residents’ conditions to the Health & Wellness team. This role is key to ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, individualized care every day.
Responsibilities
- Follow each resident’s service plan in a friendly, respectful, and supportive manner.
- Document changes in resident condition per company policy and state requirements.
- Support Continuous Quality Improvement by identifying issues and communicating them to leadership.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines.
- Promote a safe working environment and report unsafe actions immediately.
- Report any suspected elder maltreatment or abuse according to policy.
- Communicate effectively with fellow Care Partners regarding resident needs.
- Assist with meal service including serving, clearing, and dining room cleanliness.
- Foster teamwork, respect, and positive interactions with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of caregiving or similar experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and complete documentation accurately.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and show initiative.
- Compassion for and desire to work with older adults.
- Ability to meet health requirements including TB testing.
- Ability to pass required fingerprinting, background checks, and screenings.
- Certifications as required by state.
- Occasional weekend, evening, or night shifts as needed for coverage.
- Occasional travel may be required.
