Job description

Sparks Group has partnered with a renowned government transportation contractor to seek a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Analyst with expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials to support enterprise ERP implementation and testing initiatives. This role will focus on Fixed Assets and Asset Management, leading functional testing efforts, validating end-to-end financial processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong Oracle Financials functional expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and experience supporting full lifecycle ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Oracle Cloud Financials, supporting Unit, System Integration (SIT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Validate business processes across Fixed Assets, Asset Management, General Ledger, and key financial cycles including Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and integration testing to ensure data accuracy, process integrity, and compliance with business requirements.
  • Track, document, and manage testing defects using JIRA while collaborating with business users, functional SMEs, and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support Oracle Cloud implementation activities by validating system integrations, financial reporting, and overall production readiness.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials functional testing experience.
  • Strong functional expertise in Fixed Assets/Asset Management, including asset capitalization, depreciation, asset lifecycle management, and related accounting processes.
  • Working knowledge of General Ledger, with experience executing the full testing lifecycle, including Unit, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
  • Experience translating business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios, validating integrations, managing defects with JIRA, and performing data validation using Oracle Cloud reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle ERP implementation projects, and Procurement, Treasury, or Projects/PPM modules is highly preferred.
