Job description

Senior UAS Integration Test Engineer

TSC is seeking a Senior UAS Integration Test Engineer focused on testing nextโ€‘generation radar and electronic warfare (EW) solutions that integrate into a variety of customerโ€‘driven UAS platforms. The candidate will develop and execute test infrastructure and test procedures, ensuring safety and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

The role requires a versatile and adaptable individual with proven experience in fastโ€‘paced new product development. The engineer will navigate evolving requirements, coordinate with range and test facilities, and lead the generation and execution of test procedures, including range safety, flight clearances, and training development. Additional duties include supporting the definition, development, and execution of integration, product, and flight test plans; managing all phases of product flight and ground tests from prototyping through qualification and transition to manufacturing; collaborating within a multidisciplinary team of systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers; writing safe, maintainable test procedures and training programs; and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in UAS integration testing or a related field.
  • Development of standardized training programs for multiple UAS platforms.
  • Experience developing flight test plans, risk assessment, and flight reports.
  • Planning and executing comprehensive unit, subsystem, and system test cases.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize work and maximize productivity.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the U.S. Military.
  • Experience with radar and other electronic warfare equipment.
  • Proficiency in Python, NI platforms, and related tools.
