Summary - Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial and Marine products in the Foundry by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to which competency will be measured include the following:
โ€ข Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation in the Foundry to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
โ€ข Analyzes production specifications and Foundry capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine Foundry processes, tools, and human resource
requirements.
โ€ข Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
โ€ข Plans sequence of Patterns, Molding, Cores, and other foundry operations for guidance of production workers.
โ€ข Confers with department supervisors to determine status and understanding of assigned projects.
โ€ข Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
โ€ข Prepares production reports.
โ€ข Prepares lists of required materials.
โ€ข Tracks pieces shipped versus pieces made to help in maintaining one of the KPI'S for the foundry.
Other duties may be assigned.
