We specialize in fire alarm systems, integrated life safety solutions, and low-voltage technologies that protect people, property, and businesses.

We are seeking a motivated Alarm Technician Trainee to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fire protection and life safety industry.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to service calls for troubleshooting and repair of existing fire alarm and low-voltage systems

  • Assist with programming and testing of fire alarm and related systems

  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule (after-hours service response when assigned)

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and product manuals

  • Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Work in unusual or confined spaces including ladders, lifts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings

  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools

  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and their staff

  • Work flexible hours including occasional weekends and overtime as required

  • Overnight travel may be required

Qualifications

  • Experience installing or servicing Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, or CCTV systems preferred

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (not required)

  • Ability to successfully pass a drug test

  • Must pass background check to obtain required licensing

  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
