Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance. Work You'll Do As a Project - Senior Consultant, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for: * Analyze financial transactions and supporting documentation to determine appropriate proprietary and budgetary accounting treatment and general ledger impact * Prepare, validate, and post journal entries and reconciliations to support quarter-end and year-end close activities * Support governmental financial reporting in alignment with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-136 and internal reporting requirements * Execute controls and documentation activities in alignment with OMB Circular A-123 and established standard operating procedures * Follow standard operating procedures and accounting policies to produce complete, accurate, timely, and audit-ready workpapers * Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve accounting variances, address data issues, and improve close and reporting processes A successful candidate would possess these skills: * Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product

Preferred: * Experience preparing and posting journal entries and reconciliations * Experience supporting quarter-end and year-end close activities * Experience developing or supporting governmental financial reports * Experience executing controls and documentation activities in a regulated environment The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800.
